MCC has published the tentative Round 1 seat matrix for MBBS, BDS and participating B.Sc Nursing institutes. Colleges were required to verify discrepancies by 5 August 2026 at 4:00 PM before candidate choice filling begins.

MCC has published the Tentative Seat Matrix for NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 covering MBBS, BDS and participating B.Sc Nursing institutes.

Candidates should now review the available colleges, quotas and seat counts before preparing their Round 1 choice list.
The official MCC notice is dated 5 August 2026.
Participating colleges and institutes were required to verify the correctness of the displayed vacancy position by 5 August 2026 at 4:00 PM.

The published document contains separate sections for:
- MBBS
- BDS
- Participating B.Sc Nursing institutes

Counselling Routes Included
The matrix contains applicable seats under routes such as:
- 15% All India Quota
- AIIMS Open Seat Quota
- Central University and Institutional Quotas
- Deemed University Self-Financed Merit Seats
- NRI Quota
- ESIC/Employees State Insurance Scheme seats
- JIPMER and applicable internal/institutional routes
- Minority and university-specific quotas
- B.Sc Nursing All India, State and ESIC-IP routes
The exact quota displayed differs by institution.
Important Status Clarification
⚠️ This document is titled Tentative Seat Matrix.
It should not yet be labelled as the final Round 1 matrix unless MCC separately confirms or publishes a final/revised version.
Colleges were instructed to report any discrepancy before 4:00 PM on 5 August 2026 through the official MCC institutional communication process.
MCC stated that:
- If an institute did not respond before the deadline, the displayed matrix would be treated as correct.
- Choice filling would commence based on the verified position.
- MCC would not be responsible for discrepancies reported after the institutional-verification deadline.

- Government Medical College Paderu
- Government Medical College Piduguralla
- New Government Medical Colleges in Chhattisgarh
- ESIC Medical College Beltola
- ESIC Medical College Naroda, Ahmedabad
- Government Dental College, Jalgaon
- Agartala Government Dental College
- Government Dental College, Jodhpur
Candidates must verify every college’s current recognition, fee, bond, service condition, location and reporting rules separately before selecting it.
Seat Matrix Data Warning
The column showing Total Seat represents the institute/course intake displayed in the MCC document.
The final Seats column represents the seats available through the particular MCC quota shown in that row.
For example, a college may have:
- Total institutional intake: 100 seats
- AIQ seats: 15
- ESIC seats: a separate number
- State or institutional seats handled outside that particular MCC row
Do not treat total intake as Round 1 MCC availability.
What Candidates Should Check
Before preparing choices, verify:
- College name
- Institute code
- Course — MBBS or BDS
- Quota name
- Total institutional intake
- Seats available under the displayed MCC quota
- College type
- Tuition fee
- Security deposit
- Hostel and other charges
- Service bond
- Discontinuation penalty
- NRI fee and eligibility, where applicable
- Minority/institutional eligibility
- State and location preference
Choice-Filling Preparation
According to the official MCC Round 1 schedule:
- Registration is ongoing
- Choice filling is scheduled to start on 6 August 2026
- Choice filling closes on 13 August 2026 at 11:00 AM
- Choice locking is scheduled from 12 August at 4:00 PM to 13 August at 11:00 AM
Candidates should confirm that the choice-filling service is live on the MCC Candidate Activity Board before attempting to submit choices.
Important Advice for Choice Order
Candidates should arrange choices according to their true preference—not only last year’s cutoff.
Consider:
- Acceptable fee and budget
- Government, Deemed or institutional route
- Bond and compulsory service
- College and hospital quality
- Patient load
- Location and travel
- Hostel availability
- Language and local conditions
- Upgrade preference
- Willingness to join if allotted
Do not include a college unless you are genuinely willing and financially prepared to accept it.
HGE Data and Predictor Action

- Map the MCC institute code to the HGE College Master.
- Keep MBBS, BDS and B.Sc Nursing in separate course groups.
- Map every quota exactly as shown.
- Preserve Deemed Merit and NRI as separate quotas.
- Preserve ESIC and institutional quotas separately.
- Flag newly listed institutes for recognition, fee and bond verification.
- Do not overwrite State quota seat matrices.
- Replace this matrix if MCC publishes a final or revised version.
- Record the matrix as Round 1 — Tentative until officially finalised.
