Who Can Apply?

This application is for:

  • Hospitals
  • Medical institutions
  • Medical colleges
  • Existing departments seeking renewal
  • Institutions seeking fresh accreditation

Departments whose accreditation remains valid only up to December 2026 can apply for renewal in this cycle.

Does This Mean New Seats Are Available?

⚠️ No. Accreditation application is not the same as an approved counselling seat.

Candidates should not assume that a newly applying hospital or specialty will appear in the upcoming seat matrix.

A seat should be considered available only after:

  1. NBEMS grants accreditation.
  2. Specialty-wise approved seats are confirmed.
  3. The seat appears in the official counselling seat matrix.

Why This Matters for NEET PG Candidates

This accreditation cycle can affect future availability of Post-MBBS Diploma seats.

It may result in:

  • New institutions entering the pathway
  • Existing departments renewing accreditation
  • New Nuclear Medicine Diploma training options
  • Changes in future institute-wise seat availability

Candidate Advice

Before choice filling:

  1. Check current NBEMS accreditation.
  2. Verify the exact specialty and seat count.
  3. Confirm the seat in the official MCC/NBEMS matrix.
  4. Check stipend, bond and hospital disclosure information.
  5. Never rely only on an accreditation application or old seat matrix.

Important Warning

🚨 Do not add an institute or seat to your final counselling preference simply because it has applied for NBEMS accreditation.

Final accreditation and the official counselling matrix are controlling.
