The Centralised Admission Committee — CENTAC, Government of Puducherry has opened its Common Online Admission Portal for UG NEET-based courses.

NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates seeking admission through Puducherry counselling should complete the application within the official window.

Courses Covered

The current CENTAC admission notification covers:

  • MBBS
  • BDS
  • BAMS
  • B.V.Sc. & A.H.

BHMS, BSMS and BUMS are not included in this same registration notice. CENTAC has published a separate notice for applicable BSMS/BUMS/BHMS seats in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka Government IM&H Medical Colleges.

Eligible NEET UG 2026 candidates seeking admission through CENTAC under applicable:

  • Government Quota
  • Management Quota
  • Minority Quota
  • NRI / NRI-Sponsored routes
  • National Self-Supporting seats
  • Other CENTAC-notified reservation or special categories

Candidates must check the official 2026–27 Information Brochure for exact domicile, quota, category and document eligibility.

What Students Should Do Now

  1. Open the official CENTAC UG NEET portal.
  2. Click Registration for New Candidate.
  3. Enter the candidate name exactly as shown on the Class 12 marksheet.
  4. Enter a valid email address and mobile number.
  5. Create and safely store the login password.
  6. Login and complete the full application.
  7. Enter NEET UG 2026 details correctly.
  8. Select the appropriate course, quota and category.
  9. Upload all applicable documents.
  10. Complete the prescribed online payment.
  11. Review the complete form carefully.
  12. Make final submission before 6 August 2026, 5:00 PM.
  13. Download and retain the submitted application and payment acknowledgement.

Important Registration Rules

⚠️ Registration details once submitted cannot be changed through the basic registration page.

CENTAC also warns candidates not to submit a duplicate application because it may result in cancellation of candidature.

PwBD and Sports Candidates

CENTAC has separately published updated guidelines on 31 July 2026 for:

  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities — PwBD
  • Meritorious Sports Persons — MSP

Candidates claiming these benefits should read the relevant official guidelines and submit only valid certificates in the required format.

Important Quota Clarification

Puducherry counselling may include different eligibility rules for:

  • Puducherry resident Government Quota
  • Management Quota
  • Minority Quota
  • NRI / NRI-Sponsored seats
  • National Self-Supporting seats
  • Special reservation categories
