NEET PG Image Correction Opens

The NEET PG 2026 selective image-correction window opens on 31 July. Candidates notified about deficient photographs, signatures or thumb impressions must correct them by 10 August.

Who Needs To Use This Window?

This window is mainly for candidates whose uploaded image has been identified as deficient or not compliant with NBEMS instructions.

The correction may apply to:

  • Candidate photograph
  • Signature
  • Thumb impression

Candidates should check their registered email, SMS and applicant login for any deficiency communication.

What Can Be Corrected?

The Selective/Final Edit Window is limited to deficient uploaded images.

Candidates may be asked to replace:

Photograph

The photograph should be:

  • Recent
  • Clear and properly focused
  • Correctly exposed
  • Taken against the prescribed background
  • Free from shadows or distracting objects
  • Uploaded in the required format and size

Signature

The signature should be:

  • Clear and readable
  • Properly cropped
  • Uploaded on the prescribed background
  • Free from blur or excessive empty space

Thumb Impression

The thumb impression should be:

  • Clear
  • Complete
  • Properly scanned
  • Free from smudging
  • Uploaded in the prescribed format

What Cannot Normally Be Changed?

⚠️ This is not another general application-correction window.

Do not expect to modify unrelated fields such as:

  • Candidate name
  • Date of birth
  • Nationality
  • Mobile number or email
  • Academic details
  • Category
  • Internship information
  • Test state or city preferences
  • Other application particulars

Only the image or images identified as deficient should be corrected.

What Candidates Should Do Now

  1. Open the official NBEMS NEET-PG page.
  2. Click the 2026 application/login link.
  3. Log in using your registered credentials.
  4. Check for an image-deficiency message.
  5. Re-upload the photograph, signature or thumb impression as instructed.
  6. Preview the image carefully.
  7. Submit the corrected image.
  8. Download or save the updated application confirmation.
  9. Keep a screenshot showing successful submission.

Important Warning

🚨 Do not ignore an NBEMS deficiency message.

An unclear or non-compliant image can create difficulty during application scrutiny, identity verification or admit-card processing.

Candidates should not wait until 10 August to complete the correction.
